JOB DESCRIPTION – HOSPITALITY TEAM (Front of House)
As the Front of House, you are the first touchpoint in each guest’s journey—a welcoming presence who sets the tone for their experience. Your role is to offer a heartfelt welcome, hold space with attentiveness, and guide guests toward the services, rituals, and practices that best serve their wellbeing. You will be a trusted source of knowledge, reassurance, and care, helping each person feel comfortable, confident, and excited to begin their time with us.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and check in guests with warmth, offering personalized tours, answering calls, responding to emails and texts, managing bookings and payments, and introducing memberships, merchandise, and offerings.
- Create a welcoming, calm, and uplifting environment where every guest feels comfortable and valued.
- Personalize the experience by remembering preferences, celebrating special occasions, and honoring each guest’s unique journey.
- Contribute to the KEEN growth through intentional, values-aligned sales strategies—encouraging bookings, sharing promotions, and building lasting relationships that lead to memberships and return visits.
- Build genuine connections through meaningful, presence-filled conversations.
- Take initiative to resolve challenges in a way that leaves guests feeling heard, cared for, and supported.
- Perform walk-throughs to ensure the space is pristine, harmonious, and aligned with The Altar’s standards.
- Review guest feedback and act to elevate the experience wherever possible.
- Maintain deep knowledge of all modalities, services, and retail offerings to guide guests with clarity and confidence.
- Support the flow and energy of the space by moving through the facility, ensuring all areas are organized, inviting, and ready to receive guests.
QUALIFICATIONS & QUALITIES
Availability for flexible hours—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Part Time – Minimum 5-10 hours/week, including 1–2 weekend shifts per month.
At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or guest experience roles.
Skill in meeting revenue goals while maintaining a guest-centered approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and attentive presence.
Reliable, detail-oriented, punctual, and motivated.
Open-minded, curious, and committed to ongoing personal and professional growth.
Passionate about wellness and familiar with the KEEN modalities—sauna, cold plunge, breathwork, mindfulness.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods, lifting up to 20kg, and adapting to environments with significant temperature variation.
