To reserve your session or treatment with KEEN, you’ll need to complete a pre-registration process:

• Choose the credits or package that serves you best.
• Create your profile & login for all future bookings.
• Read carefully and accept our health waiver - because your safety matters

To reserve your session or treatment with KEEN, you’ll need to:

• Select your experience - session, treatment or event.
• Choose what serves you best.
• Credits are automatically deducted from your profile.
• A confirmation email will follow - your seat is reserved.

If you're unsure what to book, we're happy to advise.

All apart from the first timer packages allow you to invite one friend per month with your own credits. If you have a package that allows this, you can follow the process: 

• Tap “Reserve.”
• Log in to your account.
• Go to the line + my guest and add their name 
• Complete your booking.

Your friend will receive an email with all the details.

We only ask you to:

• Avoid heavy meals 2 hours before your session
• Get here 10 minutes before your session to change, settle in, and fully arrive
• Arrive hydrated, healthy and open to the experience
• Feeling unwell? Reschedule for another day
 

What to bring for your KEEN session:

KEEN CONTRAST CLASSES: 
KEEN is a textile sauna, so swimwear is expected for all recovery classes. Please bring your own bathing suit and a water bottle (glass bottles are not permitted). 

KEEN MOVEMENT CLASSES:
Bring sportswear that lets you move freely 

What we provide: 

• One towel for your sauna and ice bath sessions
• Hot tea or water to keep you hydrated
• Everything you need to shower and change
• Body wash is provided in our showers

To maintain the highest hygiene standards, KEEN is a footwear-free space beyond the check-in area. We appreciate your support in keeping a clean and comfortable environment for all.

To ensure a safe experience, we encourage you to:

• KEEN is a phone-free space - to remain fully present
• Arrive and stay hydrated by drinking water
• Shower rinse before entering the ice baths for optimal cleanliness
• If uncomfortable, you can use showers to warm up from ice baths or cool down from sauna
• Sit on your towel in the sauna to maintain comfort and hygiene
• Transition slowly between hot and cold to maintain balance
• Listen to your body’s signals and adjust as needed
• Balance courage with mindfulness - push your limits safely
• Check in with your body and listen to its needs throughout your experience

Group classes and social events have a 1-minute grace period for late arrivals, meaning you are allowed to enter 1 minute after the official start time. For your safety and the flow of the session, entry isn’t permitted after this time.

For self-guided journeys and treatments, there’s no strict arrival policy. Start when you arrive, though the session will conclude at the scheduled time.

We get it - life happens! 
To avoid being charged or losing a credit, please cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance. This also applies if you need to switch to a different time slot within that window. You can easily cancel through your BSport profile, through our KEEN Wellbeing App, or by reaching out to us.

KEEN is nestled in Zurich’s vibrant Kreis 5, easily accessible by train, tram, bus, bike, or on foot. The nearby tram stops, Löwenbräu and Schiffbau, are served by trams 4, 6, 8, and 13, making your journey smooth.

Driving? Nearby options include:

• Pfingstweidstrasse Car Park: Just a short stroll from Viadukt
• Hardplatz Parking Garage: Spacious and conveniently located
• Street parking & 'Blaue Zone' is also available, right in front of the studio

We encourage you to arrive by public transport or bike — sustainable, stress-free, and the perfect way to begin your experience.

KEEN is a contemporary wellness space designed to foster recovery and connection. At its heart: a custom infrared biosauna accommodating up to 35 guests, with adjustable settings including temperature, humidity, and lighting, tailored to match specific protocols for relaxation, detoxification, or recovery. Our four ice baths range from 0-10°C, with adjustable temperatures to suit different protocols and preferences, whether for a quick refresh or a deeper recovery experience.

Complemented by advanced recovery tools like massage guns, compression boots, and self-massage sticks, KEEN’s flexible treatment and movement areas adapt to your evolving needs. Thoughtfully designed non-gendered changing stalls, secure lockers, and a tranquil lounge with warm tea create a seamless, restorative experience—inviting you to pause, recharge, and connect.

The most effective way to experience the restorative benefits of sauna and ice baths is by embracing the dynamic contrast between hot and cold. If you’re new to KEEN, try a Solo Journey, where our experts are available to provide personalized 1:1 support throughout your journey.

A great starting circuit: Spend 15–20 minutes in the sauna, followed by a 1–3 minute cold plunge, then unwind in the tea lounge for 10 minutes. Repeat the cycle of heat, cold, and rest to discover what feels best for your body. There’s no “right” way to explore hot and cold therapy — experiment, stay curious, and enjoy the process.

At KEEN, we integrate scientifically-backed immersive elements to deepen the impact of each session and enhance your experience.

Light (Color Therapy): The wavelengths of colors shift your emotional state, creating an atmosphere that either uplifts or grounds you.

Scent (Aromatherapy): Influences your physiology by reducing blood pressure, easing muscle tension, and enhancing mental clarity. We use high-quality and local essential oils.

Playlists (Music): Elevates both mental and physical health by boosting motivation and supporting emotional processing.

KEEN RECOVERY:
At KEEN, we require swimsuits to fully enjoy our space. Please bring your own bathing suit and a water bottle. One sauna towel will be provided, and we ask that you sit on the towel in the sauna.

KEEN ACTIVE:
Please bring comfortable sports- or activewear that allows for easy movement.

To create a space for deep focus and connection, we ask you to leave distractions like cell phones in the lockers - offering everyone a much-needed break from technology. For self-guided journeys, please avoid filming or photographing others to respect privacy and comfort. 

With your help, we create a space that’s as inclusive and intentional as it is restorative.

Left something behind? No need to stress — our team has you covered. We’ll hold onto your items safely until they’re reunited with you. After six months, any unclaimed belongings will be donated to a charitable cause. Reach out, and we’ll help you find what’s yours.

At KEEN, we design our sessions for those who are physically, emotionally, and medically equipped to participate. Please note that ice bathing and breathwork may not be suitable for individuals with cardiovascular conditions, pregnancy, or epilepsy.

Your health and well-being are your responsibility throughout your KEEN journey. We ask that you follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our team.

If you have any pre-existing injuries or health concerns, please let us know before participating. If you experience discomfort or pain during a session, feel free to adjust your experience to prioritize your safety and comfort.

The KEEN Experience
The KEEN experience is built around peak experiences that involve placing your body in hot + cold environments. Guides help facilitate your experience, but we encourage you to take responsibility for yourself.

Readiness and Safety
At KEEN, your safety is our highest priority. All our team members are trained and certified in Basic Life Support and First Aid, equipped to manage incidents with expertise and care. We maintain a comprehensive emergency protocol, including on-site access to a defibrillator, and coordinate promptly with emergency services in critical situations. Your safety is at the heart of everything we do.

Ice Baths
At KEEN, we uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety for our ice baths. Treated with health-approved ozone (no chlorine!) and maintained in full compliance with local health regulations, our baths are cleaned daily and tested every 2-4 hours. 

Facility
The KEEN crew is committed to creating a safe space for our community. We keep all our high traffic areas clean and clear throughout the space so that your experience may be safe, following a strict cleaning protocol. 

Your Role
We invite all guests to take an active role in maintaining our studio — placing used towels in hampers and discarding tea cups after use helps foster a community rooted in care and respect. For more details about our quality standards, feel free to connect with us at [email protected]

At KEEN, our coaches are seasoned professionals with diverse health backgrounds. Each one has completed our internal KEEN Academy (200h), where they refine their skills in breathwork, contrast therapy, group facilitation, psychological first aid, and medical safety.

At KEEN, most of our classes are conducted in English, with weekly sessions offered in German. You’ll always find someone on-site who speaks both languages to ensure a seamless experience for everyone.
